Off-Grid Compatibility
- Not tested
- No
Is the TV able to function properly during and after the voltage fluctuation test?
- N/A
- Sample would not operate correctly at its rated voltage of 12V or at 15% below rated voltage (10.2V). Sample required 12.2V before it would reliably switch on from standby mode.
Notes About Voltage Fluctuation Test
- Not tested
- Yes
Does the TV have its own low voltage disconnect (LVD) & reconnect (LVR) circuit or similar automatic shutdown mechanism to protect batteries from unintended drainage?
- N/A
- When supply voltage reduced from it's lowest operating voltage of 12.2V, the sample switched to standby at approx 12V. The set remained in standby until the voltage dropped below 5V. The set could only be restarted when the voltage reached approx 12.2V. This was considered to be a correctly operating LVD/LVR but the threshold voltage of 12 to 12.2V made it unsuitable for a 12V rated set.
Notes About LVD and LVR Test
- N/A
